Sugar Mail: when you subscribe, we keep your email address and where on the site you signed up. For Homeland Helper signups, we also keep the games you chose. We send a confirmation link first; you join the list only when you click it. It’s used only to send you IridescentSugar updates, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Sugar Café / Sugarette accounts: if you save your Sprite collection, we keep your email and the Sprites you mark found or mastered so you can pick up on another device. We use month and year of birth only to check account eligibility — we do not store a full birthday on your profile. Your collection and profile are private by default. Signing in does not subscribe you to marketing email; Café updates are opt-in only. You can delete your account from My Café.
Analytics: we use first-party analytics to measure page visits, search terms, tool actions, completed email signups, and returning visits so we can understand what is useful. Anonymous events may also be mirrored to PostHog when that service is enabled. Events use a random browser identifier, do not include the email address entered into a signup form, and do not create a PostHog person profile. Browser Do Not Track is honored.
ANIIMO Companion: collection progress, hunts, favorites, goals, and field notes are saved locally in your browser. They are not sent to IridescentSugar analytics. Anonymous events can record that a tool action happened, but not the names or notes you typed.
Homeland Helper: we count page opens, RV views, downloads, simple helpful/not-yet votes, and email signup interest as daily totals. These counts contain no visitor ID, email address, or text you type.
We don’t sell your information. We don’t share it with third parties for their marketing. We don’t run third-party ad networks.
Some recommendations on this site may use affiliate links, which means IridescentSugar can earn a small commission if you buy through them — at no extra cost to you. Placements that involve an affiliate or sponsored relationship are labeled.
You can unsubscribe from Sugar Mail anytime via the link in any email, turn off Café updates in My Café, delete your Sugar Café account from My Café, or ask us to delete your information by writing to hi@iridescentsugar.com.
